A fresh approach to crime fiction

26th August 2016 – my first talk as an author

My first talk at the Hawthorns, Carew Road, Eastbourne, was an intimate and enjoyable debut in the library with a mixture of residents, which included a former literary agent, a guest who turned out to be an author, and a fellow Hailsham Harrier whose sister ran a book club in Steyning.

One of the residents made my day by telling me she’d already read No Accident and enjoyed it. That’s just the confidence booster you need before you start a talk.

My thanks to Emma Allum and Ian Turnbull at the Hawthorns for the opportunity.
